Coopers Draught Brewing Kit 1.7kg

The perfect way to brew your own beer right at home; this light yellow-gold coloured beer comes with a tightly packed white head, and has a floral nose with a hint of malt. The medium bodied palate is delicate, with delicate hopping and a slightly bitter finish. This beer is the perfect choice for the most discerning draught drinker, and pairs well with Thai Green Curry.

Making draught beer at home is a great way to enjoy your favourite beverage with friends.

The first step is to sanitise all of your equipment. This will help to prevent bacteria from growing in your beer and spoiling the taste. The next step is to boil the water and add it to the malt extract in the brewing bucket. Stir until the malt extract is fully dissolved.

Now it's time to add the hops. Hops add bitterness and flavour to beer, so it's important to choose the right variety for your brew. Add the hops according to the instructions that came with your kit, then stir well to combine.

The final step is to ferment the beer. Fermentation is what turns sugar into alcohol, so it's an important step in the brewing process. Place the fermentation bucket in a cool, dark place and let it work its magic. In about two weeks, your beer will be ready to drink!

Method

1. Add the contents of the beer kit to 23 litres of water, and mix well.

2. Add yeast, and mix well again.

3. Pour the mixture into a fermentation vessel such as a keg or bucket.

4. Fit the turkey or airlock, and leave to ferment for 14 days.

5. Bottle and leave to condition for a further 14 days.

6. Serve, and enjoy!
