This light gold Pale Ale features a base of pale ale malts, perfectly complementing the tropical fruit aroma imparted by the Mosaic hops. The Craft Beer Kit is all-inclusive, coming with American Ale Yeast and Mosaic dry hop pellets for a complete brewing experience.

For brewing a Pale Ale, it's suggested to add 1.5kg of Brick Road Extra Light malt extract. To further enhance the tropical fruit aromas, consider adding up to 200g of Australian or New Zealand hops such as Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, or Motueka.

This kit provides the essential components for crafting superb beer at home with ease and flexibility. You also have the liberty to create your own unique recipes, building them brick-by-brick. Only premium grains are chosen and malted for this kit. These malts are expertly blended to align with the beer's style, then combined with hop extracts to produce the hopped wort. The wort is carefully reduced to 80 Brix and then canned immediately on-site to capture its original, delightful malt flavours.

  • Colour: Pale Gold, 10 EBC
  • Bitterness: Low-Medium, 17 IBU
  • Grist: Predominantly light ale malts
  • Wort: Original Gravity (OG) 1.046; Final Gravity (FG) 1.009 (approx.)
  • Hops: 30g Mosaic
  • Yeast: American ale yeast

Additional Fermentables Required:

  • For a Pale Ale: Add 1.5kg Brick Road Extra Light malt extract for an ABV of 5.8% in 19L, 5.2% in 21L, and 4.8% in 23L.
  • For a Lighter Beer: Opt for 1kg Brick Road Extra Light Dry malt extract (or 1kg dextrose) for an ABV of 5.3% in 19L, 4.8% in 21L, and 4.4% in 23L.
  • For an XPA: To achieve a lighter colour (8 EBC), add 1 kg dextrose, resulting in an ABV of approximately 5.4% in 19L, 4.8% in 21L, and 4.4% in 23L.

Extra Hop Additions (Optional):

  • To further enhance tropical fruit aromas, you can add up to 200g of Australian or New Zealand hops like Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, or Motueka.

Alternate Yeast Options:

  • US-05, Bry-97, WLP001 California Ale, 1056 American Ale, or other clean, highly attenuating American ale yeasts.
