Brewing Instructions for Black Rock BIB Crafted Golden Ale

Unearth the golden brilliance of our Crafted Golden Ale with these detailed brewing instructions. Let's embark on this brewing journey!

1. Preparations:

  • Ensure all equipment is clean and sterilised.
  • Gather the necessary ingredients: Black Rock BIB Crafted Golden Ale kit, water, and any additional hops or adjuncts you prefer.

2. Boil:

  • Pour 3 litres of water into a large pot and bring to the boil.
  • Once boiling, remove the pot from heat and stir in the contents of your Black Rock BIB Golden Ale kit until fully dissolved.

3. Primary Fermentation:

  • Transfer the mixture into your fermentation vessel.
  • Top up with cold water to reach the 23-litre mark, ensuring the mixture (wort) is cooled to around 20-25°C.
  • Sprinkle the provided yeast evenly over the wort's surface. Seal the vessel with an airlock.
  • Allow fermentation to take place in a dark, stable environment at 18-22°C for 4-7 days, or until bubbles cease.

4. Secondary Fermentation (Optional):

  • If you're aiming for a clearer beer with a more developed flavour profile, transfer the beer to a secondary fermentation vessel, leaving the sediment behind.
  • Allow it to sit for an additional week before bottling.

5. Bottling:

  • Prior to bottling, add priming sugar (usually about 1 tsp per litre) to each bottle to encourage carbonation.
  • Transfer the beer into bottles, leaving about 2.5 cm of space at the top. Cap the bottles securely.
  • Store the bottles in a dark place at room temperature for at least 1-2 weeks to carbonate.

6. Enjoying Your Golden Ale:

  • For the best taste, refrigerate your beer for 24 hours before drinking.
  • Pour into a glass, taking care to leave any sediment in the bottle.
  • Revel in the luminous hue, delicate aromas, and the rewarding taste of your handcrafted Black Rock BIB Golden Ale.

Remember, brewing is as much an art as it is a science. Feel free to tweak and adjust according to your taste and preferences. Here's to a golden brew and the joy of crafting! Cheers!

"These guys are great to deal with, no BS just the information you need to make an informed decision.
